Musician, music producer and DJ, Fred Jacquier (DJ Fred Spider) arrived in Cape Town, South Africa in 2009 alone and with a suitcase. He didn’t know anyone. He did know that he had come to open his own club. He is now the host of Salsation, a Latin-infused music and dance party happening every Friday night at Cape Town's Grand Daddy Hotel, a quirky boutique hotel that has a rooftop airstream trailer park.
